This listing is for one packet of Showy Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia fulgida) seeds. Each packet contains roughly 150 seeds. For best germination of native species, remember to scatter seeds October -January!

A.k.a. orange coneflower*. A showy Rudbeckia that stays comparatively short and can tolerate some dry conditions. Bloom period lasts for roughly two months from midsummer to early fall, but a second bloom can be encouraged with deadheading. Reasonably drought tolerant once established.

"Bountiful, mustard-gold blooms encompass this mounding plant. The upright stems keep good posture nearly year-round, supporting the velvety dark green leaves as well as the bold flowers. Extend the already lengthy bloom period by removing the spent blossoms."

*Not an Echinacea, but some members of Rudbeckia are often called coneflowers. Petition for the common names to at least stick to genera. Orange coneflower is often applied to Echinacea paradoxa, which NPU refers to as Ozark coneflower.
