These extremely sturdy markers will last 5-7 years and then slowly fade away into your beds without leaving broken bits of plastic lying around. If used in a garden setting, with soil made compost, degradation will begin sooner, because of the microbes present. In a normal native planting, expect them to last longer. Weatherproof stickers can be purchased and printed on an inkjet printer if a more formal look is desired.
