A.k.a. smooth rose and early rose. A comparatively compact native rose with thornless new growth! Flowers are 2”-3” across and range from dark pink to white, with light pink as the most common color. As with all native roses, it provides cover for wildlife and feeds a variety of animals with its fruits.
