
Spotted Bee Balm (Monarda punctata)
A.k.a. spotted beebalm and dotted mint. A bee balm that tolerates dryer soils! Odd, almost tropical-looking flowers are arranged in rings underneath leaved blushed with white. Drought tolerant, does not compete well with taller plants in fertile soils. Rarely browsed.
