A.k.a. rose vervain. This wild vervain has flowers that resemble phlox, with leaves an entirely different texture! Forms attractive clumps as plants mature, and is easily grown in dry soils. Adaptable to soil type, but may need to be kept clear or taller and more aggressive plants in fertile soils.
