Pale Penstemon (Penstemon pallidus)
A.k.a. pale beardtongue. A penstemon that flourishes in poor, dry soils! Adaptable to many soil types, but prefers good drainage and may be outcompeted in fertile soils. Tends to blooms before other penstemon, so excellent to mix with other penstemon for rolling blooms! Tolerates drought, summer heat, and humidity.
