This Species is typically available during our Spring Public Sale May-June at Geist Nursery in Fishers, IN.
A.k.a. downy wood mint and Ohio horse mint. A relative of bee balm that adapts to dry soil and is attractive to butterflies! Foliage is fragrant when crushed, and shoots are semi evergreen. Deer resistant. Spreads steadily by runner (akin to bee balms), and tends to die back to the ground in late summer after seeds are set.
