A.k.a. American tiger lily*. A star Midwestern lily! A slow grower that is worth the wait, it prefers moist soils but adapts to medium garden beds. Plants in rich, wet soil may need staked. Multiple plants required for pollination.

Note: This species is large at maturity, but it’s slow growth means are bare roots are typically young and small. Like all our bare roots, price is per each. Expect these to be little guys!

*The similar native Turk’s cap lily (Lilium superbum) is also known by this common name.
