A.k.a. trumpet honeysuckle, woodbine. The showy, much sought after native honeysuckle vine! Blooms are red/orange with yellow insides, roughly 2” long, and loved by hummingbirds. These vines require a structure to climb, and blooms best in rich soil in full sun. Adapts well to part sun and variable soils.

Notes: Common in Kentucky, but considered a borderline native to Indiana, with scattered recordings in the Ohio river valley. Adapts well to central Indiana, and will likely continue to do so as the climate shifts.
