Common Goldenstar (Hypoxis hirsuta) BARE ROOT
A.k.a. yellow star grass. A widespread but little-noticed species with narrow, sedge-like leaves and showy yellow flowers! Adaptable. Can take acidic soil and can spread into lawn if not mowed until late spring/early summer. Likely vulnerable to being overgrown by taller species. 2 or more individuals are needed to set seed.
