A.k.a. water dragon. Common names come from the distinctive nodding raceme (flower cluster) which resembles a pale lizard tail. Runners to form colonies in favorable conditions. Will grow happily as a pond edge/wetland plant in a couple inches of water. Tolerates full shade but may not bloom. May adapt to mesic conditions, but is slower to establish.
