Best known for their sweet berries prized by both humans and wildlife, these versatile wild blueberries can also be planted ornamentally for their stunning red fall leaves, or as a border/visual screen due to their height! Does best in consistently moist, slightly acidic soil.

Notable Wildlife Interactions: Flowers attract mainly bees. Hosts butterflies including the pink-edged sulphur and green comma, moths including the graceful underwing and Canadian sphinx, and a few smaller insects. Berries are eaten by a wide variety of animals including thrushes, orioles, cedar waxwings, sandhill cranes, foxes, and skunks. Commonly browsed by deer and rabbits.
