A.k.a. Aster azureus and azure aster. An easily grown asters with showy flowers that tend toward pale blue or lilac. Like other asters, it supports many species of moth and a diverse range pollinators. An excellent alternative to New England aster for shorter plantings! Tolerant of drought and easy to start from seed.
