Mini Seed Mix - Shortgrass Sun/Dry
Seven shortish wildflowers that like full sun and medium dry conditions! This selection of species is largely beginner friendly and will support pollinators, songbirds, and hummingbirds. Excellent for seeding a small bed, or scattering in the empty spaces in a shortgrass planting to help it fill in.
These species do not need stratification, so can be spread late winter-early spring! Fast growing species, like Black-eyed Susan and Lance-leaf Coreopsis, grow quickly and provide color in the first 2-3 years. Other species, like Purple Prairie Clover, take longer to establish but are long lived.
