Notable Wildlife Interactions: Flowers attract bees, wasps, flies, and butterflies. Like other goldenrods, it hosts a wide variety of insects, including the wavy lined emerald and ruby tiger moths. Songbirds and gamebirds feed on the seeds, and foliage is readily browsed by deer.
