An adaptable oak with widely variable rounded leaves. Like all oaks, it is an ecosystem cornerstone and an excellent choice for adding wildlife value to a planting! Prefers acidic, slightly dry and well drained soils, but can adapt to moist loam and dry conditions. Does not tolerate consistently saturated soil. Good drought tolerance once established.
