An elegant goldenrod with an excellent arching form at home on wooded edges. As is typical of goldenrods, it supports a wide variety of pollinators and host insects!

Notable Wildlife Interactions: Flowers attract a variety of pollinators including bees, wasps, and flies. Like other goldenrods, it hosts 45+ species of moth and many other insects including leafhoppers, treehoppers, grasshoppers, and spittlebugs. Seeds are occasionally eaten by birds such as buntings, sparrows, juncos, and goldfinches. Readily browsed deer.
