A short, hardy plant that runners vigorously and supports a wide variety of insects with its flowers. Foliage makes a low, semi-evergreen, and often luscious groundcover, even in dry soils. An excellent plant for the edge of beds, sidewalks, and driveways as it tolerates occasionally being stepped on. Will eventually runner through the entirety of a bed if it has room, and a dense colony may crowd out other short plants and outcompete seedlings.
