A shorter plant excellent for adding butterfly and pollinator support to drier woodland edges and part sun slopes. A relative of the better known Golden Alexander, it hosts black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars and supports a variety of small pollinators. Prefers nutrient poor, dry soils to reduce competition, as it is easily crowded out by larger plants. Excellent drought tolerance.
