This Species is typically available during our Spring Public Sale May-June at Geist Nursery in Fishers, IN.
A.k.a. wild oats, inland oats, and river oats. A lovely grass for shady areas, it’s distinctive seed heads are easily spotted and last into the winter. Hosts the caterpillars of northern pearly eye butterflies, and multiple species of skipper!
