This Species is typically available during our Fall Sale Preorders in August, and/or the in-person Fall Sale Mid-September through Mid-October at Geist Nursery in Fishers, IN.
A.k.a. Hortulan plum or hog plum. Little data available for wildtype (non-cultivar) plants. Like other wild plums, it is likely fairly hardy, hosts a variety of insects, and is an important source of nectar for early spring pollinators. Possibly non-suckering, which would make it much more suitable for landscape plantings.
Pollination: 2+ individuals likely needed.
