A.k.a. sweet coneflower and fragrant coneflower. Well known from cultivars sold in traditional nurseries, this is the wild type of the hardy and lovely sweet black-eyed susan! Longer lived than brown-eyed susan, and taller than orange coneflower, it is a staple addition to the average planting.
