A fast growing large shrub with showy red berries! Can take full sun with consistent moisture and tolerates bright shade, but prefers at least part shade with afternoon shade. Grows quickly once established and can be pruned to maintain shorter height. May spread gradually from rhizome. Fruits are eaten by woodland birds, but are not edible for humans.
