This Species is typically available during our Fall Sale Preorders in August, and/or the in-person Fall Sale Mid-September through Mid-October at Geist Nursery in Fishers, IN.

Best known for their sweet berries prized by both humans and wildlife, these versatile wild blueberries can also be planted ornamentally for their stunning red fall leaves, or as a border/visual screen due to their height! Does best in consistently moist, slightly acidic soil.

Pollination: 2+ individuals recommended.

Notable Wildlife Interactions: Flowers attract mainly bees. Berries are eaten by a wide variety of animals including thrushes, orioles, cedar waxwings, sandhill cranes, foxes, and skunks. Commonly browsed by deer and rabbits.
