Pale-spiked Lobelia (Lobelia spicata)
A delicate, somewhat short-lived lobelia easily distinguished from its cousins by its small stature and white flowers. Tolerates close proximity and some shade from surrounding prairie plants, and takes up almost no room itself. Young and new plants need consistent moisture while they establish, but established plants tolerate some dryer conditions.
