Meadow Anemone (Anemone canadensis)

A.k.a. Windflower. An easy to grow anemone that blooms in late spring or early summer. This member of the buttercup family forms colonies, and naturalizes easily in good conditions. Similar in appearance and easily confused with thimbleweeds.
