A.k.a. Dentaria laciniata. One of the earliest blooming spring ephemerals, the deeply toothed leaves and delicate flowers are easily recognizable. Best grown in understory that is bright in the spring and shaded once trees leaf out. Plants generally die back completely by mid summer, and tend to spread bu rhizome to form small colonies.
