This listing is for one packet of Royal Catchfly (Silent regia) seeds. Each packet contains roughly 100 seeds. For best germination of native species, remember to scatter seeds November-January!

A lovely, generally easy to grow plant that takes several years to reach its full potential. The flower’s unusual deep calyx and red color make them attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Seeds are exceptionally small but germinate fairly well, seedlings take time to establish and should be minded so they aren't crowded out by faster growing plants.

Conservation of royal catchfly is a work in progress throughout most of it’s range. Currently listed as threatened in Indiana, and endangered in Illinois and Kentucky.
