A.k.a. prairie coreopsis, stiff coreopsis, and prairie tickseed. The classic large, yellow coreopsis flowers from a plant that thrives in dry, poor soils. Plains coreopsis are longer lived and have a more delicate form than the well known lance-leaf coreopsis, but are generally slower growing. Attracts a wide variety of pollinators!
