An outstanding plant for pollinator gardens, a good attractor of monarch and swallowtail butterflies! Among the shortest and most shade tolerant of local Joe-pye weeds, it still needs its space. Will form a clump that expands each year, and may reseed. Prefers wetter soils, particularly in sunnier areas.
