This small, sparse evergreen fern is more adaptable than other spleenworts, but requires well drained soil to prevent crown rot. Best grown in part shade to bright/dappled shade. Easily outcompeted by other shade plants in a garden setting, best grown in rocky soil, or even in the cracks of large rocks!
